Park patches are fine, but I'm finding they do degrade after a while and then you get the slow leak.
Takes a few months though.
For me:
multi-tool
patches
mini-pump
15 mm spanner.
spare tube recently too.
and some chain links since I got caught short with a broken chain.
all in my commuting backpack though.
