Chris King crown races

does anyone know if chris king makes crown races (or base plates as they like to call them) in the JIS 27.1 size? i'd rather not get the crown race on my fork milled.

i've had no luck searching the internets at this so far.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but has anyone converted a threadless Chris king headset, to theaded? Apparently you can leave the races in place, and simply swap the stem cap, star-nut and bolt, for a gripnut..? Is this right? If so, does anyone know where i can buy the gripnuts/lockrings from?

they sell crown races for 1" and 1.18th.

ta, but i can't find information on whether the 1 1/8 crown races are 26.4 (ISO) or 27.1 (JIS).

I've sent them an email, see what they say, i guess.
