Just wrote out a whole post and lost it in a browser error. Poop.
I have always had this problem - even as a child, thighs were always out of proportion to my skinny waist. Recently, got a pair of Petroleum jeans. They don't have the straight side seam stitching - there's a whole series of seams around the knees, so they mould better as your leg bends. They fit my arse well and have the girlfriend's gold-star seal of approval, but they have room around the thigh. Rolled up, they are ideal for cycling in.
Admittedly, the ones I have are boot-cut an the bottom. But I am sure you could get a straighter cut in the calf and still retain the thigh-room.
Yeah fair enough, they aren't ideal but I've always found them to be comfy enough on me, they're not too expensive compared to the likes of Diesel at €200-300, same with Acne, great jeans but pricy!! Anyways, I'm an All Saints man now through and through ;) (Wouldn't say no to some Acne's or nice Diesel's either though)
