What a pile of old wank on here from moaning Liverpool fans this morning. It was a soft penalty but that doesn't have any material effect on the result given Spurs basically rolled over and let United win.

The league table doesn't lie. The best team over the course of a season wins it. Liverpool have had a good season but drew too many games against teams they should have beaten. A bit of introspection wouldn't go amiss.

How can you say the penalty had no effect on the game. Don't think it would have ended 4-2 if not for the penalty. It completely changed the game, due to the effect it had on the morale of Tottenhams players.
Yes Liverpool should have beaten all the shite we only drew with. But it doesn't help when you have to fight against dodgy decisions constantly going uniteds way

Penalty decision was shocking but I still don't think it's decided the title - If Arsenal can nick 3 points from United then it may well still come down to the last game of the season, with Hull fighting for their lives as well - Liverpool and United to be level on points with Liverpool winning on goal difference!

Yeah my somewhat optimistic prediction is based on United losing to Arsenal and Hull - very unlikely I know but still praying they pull something out the bag - only other chance may be the Manc derby

It's a joke - the player of the year yet he's only started 12 league games?! Vidic has been immense all season, Lampard has been outstanding (even if he is a cunt), Gerrard has been at the top of his game.

This sets a precedent and now it's in danger of becoming a lifetime achievement award.

Well without being biased, yes. Jagielka and/or Lescott(Jags has been more consistent though). Like you said, both being Championship players to England squad (Lescott scored 12 goals last season, not bad for a CB playing out of position at LB) . Best CB pairing in Prem after Vidic & Ferdinand imo
