I might go for a black anodised Delta brake and tribars, otherwise perfect. -

Perfect for what?

Perfect for what?
A few things come to mind, but given the era of the frame and wheels it would be ideal for turning up at Cammish's Old Skool races and showing them what futurists were doing while British time triallists were still stuck in the USWB/drillium years.

You make an excellent point.

i can't believe how long those drop-outs are. is there any possible reason for that? surely not for changing over gearing. if you owned a frame like this, you should have been able to adjust your chain length properly.

It's nice when flipping the wheel from the time-trail gearing to the polo-gearing.

There's a hole to the right for gear cables to come out of. And you can just see two screws for removing the track ends.
I've a feeling that you can basically take them out and put other ends in. So it's not the optimal length of track ends, it's just the length that fits in that space.
Maybe the gear one uses up half the space attempting to add a hanger on an arm... as there isn't a gear hanger anywhere.
