I have had this custom built bike since 1996, original price of £950. It is a dream to ride, very forgiving and comfortable despite its age. This bike is set up for alpine cycling. The frame colour (flame red sparkle) has faded in places but all still in good condition.
I have made changes over the year's including TT set up for sprint triathlons and single speed set up for commuting. And now a great out of town bike for longer hilly rides (50-100 mile trips).
The groupset is Shimano 105 mostly, except replacements STI levers are Sora and front mech is Ultegra. Other changes include:-
8 speed cassette shimano hyperglide 12-23
Shimano 105 Compact chainset 50/34
Speedplay pedals
Mavic Aksium wheels
Fizik Arione saddle
ITM stem and touring handbars
chrome 531c forks
Finally, bike is registered through datatag for security reasons / piece of mind
