good times everyone. Glad I made it round the whole of Canary Wharf with Harry and a few
others. I got a few good shots en route which I'll post up when I can face turning my laptop on! -

Buzz you sneaky bastard, did you make it along embankment? We got diverted by the imminent commencement of the wheelchair race...
We [me n Johnny Tang&Leonardo] got diverted too.. somehow made it back on to the route but on the side of the road they weren't using. Kinda racing along side the wheelchairs one point...
We thought we were trying to trace your route? :S

Thanx all! that was such good fun this morning. Being on closed roads at such a pace and being able to tuck in really close together cos there was no fear of traffic was a real thrill!

I'm still buzzing from such a great morning, really great ride, perfect weather, friendly faces and smiles from the coppers.
Highlight: The first 15 miles flew by
Lowlight: Cold beansI was smiling to myself most of the way round, was my first ride on my new frame. Very happy with the way the bike rides.

Wow that was an eventful day.
Woke up at 4.45 arrived at brighton station at 5.30 only to be told there are replacement buses and they wont take bikes, shit bugger wank, manage to persuade the bus driver to take my bike and I make it to the ride. Wow guys that was an awsome atmosphere and just incredible navigation stills (joke). Only we could get lost on a marked out and marshelled course. Followed by cold beans but i did not care because the company was good.
Unfortunatly the journey back to brighton was not so good. I visited the folks in epsom then headed back to brighton, however when I arrived at Heywards Health I was told I could not get on the replacement bus service and would have to either do a 3 and a half hour detour changing on 3 different trains, or leave my bike at the station and get it another day. So I took the third option and rode back to brighton which was amazing but very very hard work with no brakes and 72 gearing and also after not much sleep and doing the marathon ride this morning. Yawn
Thanks to everyone
