Blimey, I've never heard of a robbery like this, either. We've had pannier theft by pillion riders on moving scooters, but never complete bikes. Make sure you report it to the police--they've done work before on scooter-based robberies in Islington and may already have leads. Did it happen in the area east of Essex Road?
