I have pitlocks on the front wheel but question the point on a seatpost for the following reason:
Nothing protects the saddle.
In addition to the Pitlock seat post clamp (which is very effective) they make a steel saddle loop which is supposed to protect the saddle as well, but as we know a quick bolt cutter job will go through them.
Is it therefore easiest to just have QR and the just take the saddle with you for any long period?
Also, if you do the superglue ball bearing thing - how do you remove it when YOU want to take the seatpost off?
