there used to be all sorts of public information adverts and stuff years ago...
it's time we had some more, and not all about cars, there's no point trying to educate people to be careful of cars when they are crossing as cars are usually at a standstill in town and pedestrians are used to being able to bolt across in the gaps. And always two feet from a perfectly decent crossing.
Almost nobody bothers to look before stepping into the road these days, no responsibility, or aggressive (thinking they are so hard everyone else will stop) or just plain careless. personally I think if the taxpayer is paying for all these pedestrian crossings everywhere they should be used and not ignored as unlike bike lanes they are actually safer than the road.
Jaywalking should be an offence, fine the fuckers. all other road users get fined, do it to those fucktards.
anyway, back to coloured clown bikes, BLB, rate-my-fixie etc..
