That's a lot of chrome and paint detailing for a Cromor frame...

Yeah but it's a Cromor my Kotter has engravings and crome fork and stays as well and it is a Cromor. There is plenty cromor frames with chrome, paint detailing and engravings arround.
This frame is most likely from a german ebay seller who has sold lots of NOS ciöcc's. The picture is just taken from one of his auctions. Here is another from the seller and another ciöcc cromor. Cromor is a decent steel (reminde of the steel shootout articel)
If you think of cromor as a steel it is so bad that it's not worthy to paint nice or do some chrome work than I just can say viral marketing has the job done right! Sureplus, nutty customers, no knowledge or/and experience when it comes to SLX CROMOR 531 Tange & co ... oh and a trace VOODOOO not to forget! But you are right the top of the line have much in common with the frame above.
No offense...but difference are so minor for hobby riders and even pro's couldn't say which steel they ride until a decal is on it.Look at the nice tubes in pic3. Top down and seat tube are twisted like this...and it's a cromor :)

That twisted tubes frame is insane...
I guess most of the Cromor frames I've seen have been relatively "entry level." I'm by no means knocking Cromor, I had a Rossin Cromor that was a delight. Nothing crazy like these Cioccs though.

I'm a fan also. It must be the colour of the frame.

So he has just taken another picture the CIÖCC is TSX. I hate the lucky bidder a bit. It has a aero fork (TSX) and the bare frame has not...so I decamp and watch Thomas Edison doing oldschool stuff :D '(2:15)

local builder
Cicli Polito:
This is the most beautiful bike i've ever seen in person. It won top honors at the 2009 NAHBS show. It's a faithful remake of a 1950s grass track racer. This particular one was built to pay homage to the late Norm Taylor of Jack Taylor Cycles and aside from notable exceptions such as the frame itself and tires, virtually everything else is of the proper vintage, right down to the 1"-pitch drivetrain.
The seat tube takes a dramatic curve around the rear wheel, the fork blades are brazed to a wonderfully unique crown and all of the tubes are finished in a metallic burnt orange finish with nice box pinstriping.
