I was walking down Millbank at that exact time this morning - must have just missed the collision. The place was swarming with police because of the protest in Parliament Square, did none of them see it?

Is your mate O.K?

Hey, im the one that got hit,
unfortunately didnt catch the motorbike couriers company colours! Also yeah there were tonnes of police but they were little help, more interested in just moving me on. I asked about the cctv but the officer was told by radio that all cameras were focused elswhere because of the protest!
My legs are pretty Knocked about but nothing broke which is the main thing, just pissed about the frame. Its got a big fold in the top tube so if any one spies anything near a 64 cm track frame for sale as mines seen its last days a heads up would be good.
Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Millbank.
That's quite the haven for government buildings and big business offices with lots of cameras. Not all of them will be trainable on other directions and protests. Return to scene and take a look around from the location of the accident. Some of the door coverage cameras might be able to help you out.
Alternatively, see if the police can stick up a yellow incident sign. If the courier could be bothered to stop, he might well be willing to call a number to give some information.

sorry to hear this, the above is a very good idea!
My mate was knocked off his bike this morning at about 10.15am on millbank by a cab that pulled out whilst looking at him from what i think was great college street.
There was a motorbike courier coming the other way who he also pulled out on.
The motorbike courier stopped cos he saw it all and he even had a go at the cabby but my mate didnt get his details as a witness.
Duffys frame is fucked and pretty hard to replace due to its 64cm size!
If any of you couriers could find out from your companies if anyone saw anything would be massively appreciated, cheers
