A simple search reveals this Opinions on Palmy Locks
I believe that it was first designed as ear-rings, but the manufacturer misunderstood the measurements,
and with redundant stock, decided to try to fob them off to idiots as colourful u-locks.
Some people apparently have shown interest in it.
This story was wonderfully resourced by the most excrement journalists
