Nah, I use M18 on its own or 1.5M Series 3 with the CISA padlock. I find the III goes round my shoulder fine BTW, though it could do with being a bit shorter just for weight saving - might borrow a grinder at some point, even. The air/ground thing is a bit spurious, I think. I'm about 99% certain one of the CaptainCropper videos has the cropper heads in the air - you just stand on/against one grip and lean on the upper one.
