Thankyou for all the informative replies & advice... I think I'll 'acquire' a copy of Dreamweaver & or download wordpress mainly because they're names I recognise & I guess a lot of people must use them... a good start for getting advice.
What I plan to do is upload my portfolio & create a kind of blog & shop... I'm a design slut doing mainly commercial interior design but also graphic print design, product design, artworking, visualisation, photography, general making, buying & selling stuff... hence the need for a flexible & personal template for my planned fantastical website.
So hopefully in a bit of time I'll get a chance to bore you with a link ;)
