Here's a band I was in (much later on)... These guys were my favourite band as a teen, then they randomly showed up in the UK! Mana from Heaven... No one could fuck with The Scientists, I've seen many bands try but not one could blow them offstage...

The Pandoras - Hot generation
The Pandoras were amazing, part of the same scene as The Three O'clock, The Long Ryders, Tater Totz etc. It was dubbed "The Paisley Underground" L.A. was shitloads of fun in the early 80's.

@Elguapo - I've been meaning to see the Nuns at Dirty Water but never gotten round to it, might have to head down.
You can still get their records and but they are out of print for sure. Not that expensive either.
