A friends dad (really nice guy, became social worker)was the guitarist for a leicester based band called Gypsy, and also Legay

You can still get their records and but they are out of print for sure. Not that expensive either.

The Pandoras - Hot generation

The Pandoras were amazing, part of the same scene as The Three O'clock, The Long Ryders, Tater Totz etc. It was dubbed "The Paisley Underground" L.A. was shitloads of fun in the early 80's.
