Mate, depending on how bad the rim is, it may be able to be trued.
Also, don't know if this is what you meant or not, but you prob wont need a new wheel, just a new rim and spokes. The hub should be fine.
Halos are strong as fuck in my experience. You could just buy the same rim again. 1 cost me £35, but they might even be cheaper now (that's a little bit cheaper than Velocity's and open pros).
