I have a aluminiun one, any good?
-
• #8
Not for me, but thanks anyway.
Prefer a bit smaller, no drilling for brakes (and thus less clearance) and, who doesn't, Italian or even a nice Raleigh of Gerald O'Donovan himself ;-)Price range: of course it depends on what is offered.
Between GBP 100 and 500 or so.
Example: GBP 300 for a Cinelli in the right size, even with a "small" dent in the D/T... -

Would you sell just the frame, and if so do you know what tubing?
-

Hi, yeah, looking to only sell the frame... Someone else sent a PM asking about it, here is the reply!!
It's made of Ishiwata tubing - the same stuff as a lot of the Bridgestone frames, similar to 531/ Columbus SL. Could do with a respray but looks fine as it is - has decals running down the front blade of the fork which look pretty cool. No dents. Drilled front and rear, although i'm not sure if the rear would take a modern brake.
Bought it off a guy who managed pearson for 5 years and raced on their team. really good guy.
TBH, would be surprised if i sell it - will need a good offer!!

But I'll know - and I won't be able to wear my 531 Awesome t-shirt with real life authenticity...

Seriously?
Why not?
Truth is, I want to buy a new frame but I don't need one. So I'm just going to be a bit fussy till I find what I want...
hey guys,
i am after a track frame, or complete bike - somewhere between 56 and 60 cm.
i really don't care what it is, as long as it fits size wise, doesn't weigh a ton and is fairly solid. oh, yeah, and cheap.
i want it as a track bike, possibly doubling up as a polo bike.
give me a shout if you got anything knocking about in your basement that fits the bill, and which i can take of your hands cheaply.
cheers
kai
