if you make it radial on the cog side your hub can break because of the power when you pedal.
radial is harder when the shock comes from the side.
It's 2X on the drive side, radial on the off.
Thats not ideal for londons famous londons roads

Thats not a beard, looks more like pre race shennanigans and he has licked off Hippys 'merkin' and got it stuck to his tongue :)

nevertheless i think about do a 3-cross rear AND front next time, because of the same spoke length. save money.

Actually it's 3x driveside... the flanges are asymmetric so the spoke tension is a lot lower on the non-drive side, therefore it seems logical to use radial on that side... Have been using that wheel (and the Shamal) about 6 months last year without problems..
And, thanks for the comments :)

Me and boike, courtesy of coppiThat;
Dunno if it's because of the angle of the photo, but you look a bit scrunched up on that bike. Thought about trying a longer stem ?

Or moving the saddle back, as it seems to be jammed as far forward as possible

Well, this was my fixie - until tuesday when it was nicked from the bike racks at Bank Station. Updates since the pic were new pale blue bar tape, a Condor seat and a Sugino Messenger 44t crankset.
Long shot I know, but if anyone sees it I'd me grateful for the heads-up. Forgive me for posting this on different threads around here. I'm really hoping to recover the bike.

Please tell me you took off that worn-to-fuck chainring before putting a new chain on?
I thought I was slack with wrenching but as I say.. there's always someone lazier :P

in all fairness, it's a track bike, the seat stay is almost vertical, hence why he look scrunched up, my bianchi's the same no matter how far I push the saddle back.

To be honest, his position is the least of his problems. Brooks saddle, no brakes, white tyres, spoke cards - the man is a total fashion victim. Somebody will make a serviceable track training bike out of that Bianchi once he gets bored and moves on to whatever the next thing turns out to be - probably Dutch bikes.

apart from the white tyres, why does the spoke cards, brooks saddle and no brakes make him a fashion victims???
