Hippy I have a theory about drug taking in sport, when an athlete is prepared to 'win at any cost' and pressure from sponsors hungry for success could easily render twats like Hamilton / Vino / Rasmussen and Landis to cheat. We have minor sports in the UK starved of funding struggling to make ends meet, producing crap talent, and the flip side where sport is well funded fucking up athletes what amounts to a huge gamble.. sorry to generalise.. I love procycling and TeamGB is having a renaissance, but the Tyler's of this world should get a life-time ban and HTFU.. there are still alot of them out there, especially the top Italian riders like Danilo de Luca who need to be checked over and Lance Armstrong also needs to clear his name, if he is ever to return to the Tour de France and settle matters with Agence Francaise de Lutte Contre le Dopage..
