They really do look the part mate - if you don't mind - I think I'll be building something similiar
Do you have a frame for them to go on?
-
• #103
Yep, they're for the Peracinni.
-
• #104
Wonderful - what year is the Peracinni? are you going for the full C-record group?
I am going to have Tommasini build me a techno track frame
Once that is built I think I will probably stop building for a while
Tommasini, Pinarello, de Rosa, Barekuckle, Dahon -- its enough ;)

Interesting.. Going to build a pair of sheriffs to Omega V clinchers (alu, not blackish).. Would some sort of aero spokes look out of place? or should i just go for DT champs?
-

You asked the question and then answered it. And got it correct too.

good!
i was just wondering if there was anything else i was over looking... -

but you can use a brake on the omega's - (i think you said this in a different thread gizmond?)
so the difference is thus negligible..? -

Hi, I have a NOS Campagnolo C-Record Pista Hubset, rear is 32H, front is 24H, so I would like to read your opinion about what rims you recommend for lace this beautiful hubs. I was thinking in high polished rims, med or high profile

Seek and ye shall find.. 3 pages of sheriff star related rim chatter.
-
• #117
Zipp 808 Firecrest or get the fuck out
-
• #118
Don't waste good rims on crap hubs. I'll take the Zipp.
-
• #119
Enve Smart or Zipp 303s on Chris King R45s though, that's the real question...

My front hub is 24H and rear 32H, so there are no many good options to choice. Yesterday i Saw a NOS Mavic CXP-14 24H, non machined rim, so this is my first option, It was very cheap (20usd) so I'll buy it and find a 32H one.
Yep, mine.
Clinchers, so I'll put lightweight tires on so I won't be tempted to ride them on the street.
I have the same rims laced to older Campy Pista Hubs for the road and 'training'.
