Stolen 57cm Peugot Prestige Geared Road Bike

Bike description:

Frame:
Reynolds 708 frame and forks with stickers on
57 cm Peugot Prestige, Black/Grey or Silver = more like faded lavender pink Highlights, very tigth clearances with no space for mudguards, Cromed 3\4 seatstays and full chainstays, Vans black sticker upside down on the top tube, mtb rear detachable mudguard with vans apple green sticker stuck upside down covering brandname

Decals [silver]:
"peugot" on both sides of downtube,
"prestige" on both sides of toptube located near headtube
"HBS" Hand Brazed System and "CAD" Computer Advanced Design with Peugot logos on each side of seatube
Peugot logo on front of headtube

1993 Shimano 600 groupo:
double crankset - dustcaps missing,bb not sealed bearing, front derailleur 2 speed, rear mech 8speed, front and rear hubs (rear hub shimano 600 sticker missing), hyperglide 8 speed cassette, rear/front brake calipers and brake leavers with integrated gear shifters sti 8 speed black cabling, front derailleur cable is not cut short and excess twisted around seattube and stuck to it with black duck tape

Headset, handlebars, stem
shimano 105 black headset with no washer in between top nut and seal, 3ttt road stem with scratched cinelli criterium 67 pista bars with no handlebar tape and vine corks as bar plugs, gear and brake cables stuck to handle bars with stripes of black duct tape

Seatpost, Saddle:
kalin 27.2 seatpost, scuffed turbo selle black saddle

Pedals, Mini Toeclips
mks track pedals black cages with christophe mini toeclips with no strap holes

Wheels Mavic Open 4 CD:
rear and front 36h black anodized mavic open 4 CD laced 2 cross [rear wheel on spoke missing, nipple still there] to shimano 600 hubs [shimano quick release skewers], silver spokes and nipples, with no machined braking surface but reasonable amount of rim wall wear...

Tires:
Front - Deda Grinta black 700x23
Rear: Specialized Armadillo Black with dark red side-walls 700x25c
Valves: Aligned with tire brand name Presta valves [no threads on it] without valve caps

Where, When:
gutted, cause it got stolen 2h ago [16:45 - 17:00pm Thursday 17/04/2009] from balcony, front door of my flat [i live in block of flats, second floor, in EC1 7UQ, Holborn, Chancery Lane, Clerkenwell]. Ironic, cause at the time i was checking a thread on this forum and arranging pick up of a rear wheel from a member of LFGSS [sorry for letting you down almac68]... An entry door to a stairwell is phone entry system equipped. I did not lock it as i literally left it in front of my kitchen window... well, lesson learned...

**Please, let me know if You see any of these bits on internet, bricklane, gumee etc., cause i remember every scratch and scuff on my parts, i used to check them quite often:{) I will D-lock bustards involved, if catch them :{)

I think I might have seen this at Brick Lane this morning. Wasn't really looking for a bike like this, but saw a blackish Peugeot with 708 tubing, quite large frame and def being handled by one of the dodgy types.

Depressing place. Saw quite a few obviously nicked bikes including a rather nice chocolate brown fixie that disappeared quite quickly.

Suffice to say mine wasn't there.

i have slept till 2pm and missed brick lane market topday... shit :{) i did not expected to find my bike where was expecting to find it, hopefully i'll find it on gumtree or next sunday market... if not doesn't matter, tomorrow i'm going to pick up mercian vigorelli frame so R.I.P. PUG viva mercian:{)
