Dentures are the way to go, you can add (or remove) teeth quite easily to change ratios. Make sure you get the right tension after changing though as you'll end up with slack jaw.

Surely ,if you removed a tooth from the rear cog, and then filled in the hole in the chain with which it once mated with. All would be well.
Alternativly if you would like to gear down, simply grind out a section of your rear rim and rewield. The reduced wheel diameter would give you an effective lower gear.
Personally I can never be bothered with all this cuting and wielding, so I just let the air out of my rear tyre to gain the same effect.

PM Tynan he sells holes, you could then fill the hole in with an extra tooth.

you are missing a trick, just angle grind a couple of teeth off your chainring, that'll lower your ratio. grinding teeth off the rear sprocket will increase your ratio, duh!
