• for this bike veloflex - mostly because I am only going to walk about with it looking Italian and beautiful - for a working bike such as the Pinarello I am trying out Continental Gatorskins and a small tin of aersol latex if I do get a puncture - I have a cheapish source of veloflex

    I've been using the normal Sprinters for the past year, mostly track miles, and they seem decent enough.

    Had an old Vittoria Nuovo Pro with tan side walls on a set of wheels I picked up, and I've been commuting on that recently. Seems really nice, and fairly puncture proof (has Kevlar), but there doesn't seem to be a modern equivalent
