Just a week ago I bought a beautiful pearlescent white argos frame from a very friendly and reluctant seller on ebay. I was going to build it up as a nice geared trials bike but after speaking to the banker I now realize this would be a really long way off and I won't prioritize it right now. All a bit silly really, because this is the reason the first gent was selling it in the first place. Dreams and impulse, I'm sure quite a few of you understand.
Its a reynolds 753 micro TT frame, very rare tubing and when you stare down the seat tube you can see how paper thin the steel really is. The paintjob is great (typical argos quality) You can see from the pictures how the paintjob goes purple in the light. It has been used, and some of the paint is chipped from dings, rocks etc. Otherwise its in good shape.
its a 49cm TT, so would suit someone who normally rides 52-54cm.
It also comes with a stronglight headset, shimano 105 brakes, EDGE carbon fibre forks and brake cables. These items alone new cost more than what I bought the frame for on ebay!
