With you on Bikelab. I've never been treated so badly in a shop in all my life. I don't know if he is still there but the tall mech (possibly Ging) was a f*cking prick.
I once went in there and asked if the X-Lite cleaning fluid would clean my tyres. In front of the customers he became really rude asking me; 'why the hell would you want to clean your tyres?' and being quite offensive generally. I kept calm and just out talked him. I actually managed to get another customer to walk out as well who said he felt uncomfortable at the way the guy talked to me and said he'd never go there again.
Thats not the only bad customer service I've had there. They only seem to like you if you've got no idea what your doing and they can sell you something wholley unnecessary and over-excessive for you
Everytime I go past there I want to brick their windows. I've even had dreams about it.

Was riding on town on saturday and spotted a nice brakeless mercian with spinergy front wheel.
parked up next to it by vodafone... Mine was the baby blue and cream.Rode calshot on sunday which was crazy... had 11 novice riders doing a scratch race at the end of the session - no idea what was going on... back again for another go in may...

Guffer. I saw a Plug parked up at the pedo part at the bottom of Old Christchurch Road a few weeks ago. I seem to remember it had a red chain and black unmarked hubs on Velocity. So guess it's not yours tho!

I might as well post mine as well - This is what those in B'mouth would most likely see me riding. I don't really care about how it looks so much, or the general condition. It's good to throw around and it's been reliable...so far.
It looks fairly big, but I've got quite a bit of seatpost showing and it's comfy in the drops. I'm only 5' 10" (33 inseam) - I'm a weird anomaly of nature I suppose. I love riding it.

I would probably sell my soul for some beer and cakes, so it ain't no problem.
I am away but you can pick up the bike sometime this week before hand. Gears need reindexing though, they are a bit off.
I am assume we are still going to CM on friday?

I just cycled back from Southampton and had to post about this:
I was coming through Richmond Park towards Charminster when SMACK a car drives past, arse is stinging a bit, wtf?, chav leaning out of the window waving a massive dildo, 5 guys in the car cracking up.Luckily I was in a good mood and found it pretty funny so had a joke about it when I caught up with them at the next set of lights. Serves me right for wearing lycra shorts I suppose...

fun, as always. good turn out because of the weather and got talking to a few people off here. going next next month definately too.
gutted i wasnt in town for that ride today would have been a blast on closed roads, thing about c. mass is its slow generally, except on the odd occasion.
anyway just got back from bhf ride, 64 miler, 3.30, good spin out.
heading out again now wanna meet poole quay, loafing...........? could ride to beach....
