Hopefully you'll get this back. Place an advert in Cycling Weekly, if it gets sold it could definitely be to a reader of CW.

Would be beyond belief to see some greasy fuck selling this down brick lane. Certainly worth a look though.

Eyes peeled- really sorry to hear this, especially about your son.

Obviously, I feel for you, loosing such an amazing bike (eyes peeled).
But this was the bit that really made me grind my teeth.
They also nicked my sons red Specialized mtb that he got for christmas and he's in tears this morning.
Bike theives, grrrrrr!

wow that really sucks, poor you and your poor kid!! Brick lane definately worth a shot and the other usual places (ebay / gumtree). do you have your serial numbers? i know that's nerdy but I have had to quote mine to the police to get their aid in the past.
I will keep an eye out for sure.. fingers crossed for a safe return.nice of you to offer a reward, i hope it helps..prehaps the charity could be the new server??

be warned ; once horrible thief realises his rich pickings he/she will no doubt be back for more, so make sure that your lockup is very secure.
also worth considering that once they realise its worth they might decide that its far too hot to sell as a complete item and will trash the frame and sell the components.
Just thinking outside of the box. good luck on the hunt. sorry if i missed something.gumtree
loot
worldwide search on ebay

+1
They are bound assume that the bike will be replaced with something equally nice. -

Thanks guys. The idiots that nicked it didn't take the others that were sat the other side of my Ducati - it was the closest one to the window...
And I'm off to get a BFO alarm - my 'bike shed' has a lot more toys they left and power : )

Nicking your bike is one thing, but nicking a kids bike (I'm making an assumption that this was a 4 - 7 year old's bike) is beyond the pale. Heartfelt sympathies for both of you, but especially your boy.
Btw, if his doesn't turn up and you are looking to replace, do have a look at Islabikes - my boy went from a specialised to an isla and hasn't looked back.

Thanks mate - he's a big guy for 12 and went straight from a kids bike to a medium adults. Too easy for the chavs to pass up.

Sorry to hear about your bikes, especially your sons. Off on a tangent but why is cycle insurance so expensive?

'cos they get stolen a lot and it's more difficult to prove ownership than with a car or moto. Stupid thing is, this bike is worth more than a couple of my Ducatis. Thank god it didn't have the really good wheels on.
And the insurers know the average PcP isn't really interested in a 'push bike'. Doesn't see it as serious

terrible news
It finally happened. My place in the garden where I keep my bikes and motorbikes got broken into last night.
Fortunately only one bike was stolen, but it's a nice one (model is the same, colours are similar to this, proper pics to follow).
So, if you see a Colnago Extreme Power for sale with the following spec, please let me know - if you get the bike, there's £500 in it for you to donate to the charity of your choice : )
There's precicely ONE bike that has this spec. If you see it, it's mine.
They also nicked my sons red Specialized mtb that he got for christmas and he's in tears this morning.
Kingston area.
Thanks in advance!
