I have both, a 54cm Tricross and a 54cm Langster (2008). For commuting comfort and general durability the Tricross is my choice, but I 8 miles of my commute is on very shitty country lanes.
The langster feels much faster but is really best of good surfaces so I keep it for sunnydays and Sundays.
