  • This is a review of these gloves that I am writing after using them for two months in a variety of situations:

I own the full finger "hard ride" version of these gloves which look like this:

I purchased these as I was fed up with getting through other gloves as I use my cycling gloves to explore with as well. On first impression they were slightly stiff and uncomfortable, however this soon changed the leather softened after being dosed in my man sweat and rain, it became soft to touch and close fitting and like an extra layer of skin more than a pair of gloves. For cycling they provide enough cushioning for riding on even Brighton's worst roads. They also provide excellent grip on bare metal bars.

The only concern i have is that the velcro (if you can call it that) on the strap comes undone a lot. This is however a minor inconvenience and is easily sorted.

Right and now onto my hardcore testing of this glove, I have been wearing this glove while exploring for the last month, I have used it to climb over splintered boards, over broken glass and crawling through concrete spaces with the gloves being dragged along brick work. I have wrecked various other gloves costing up to £20 from Specialized to Endura and all have lasted one trip out exploring. The Knog gloves are still intact and are actually a lot more comfortable than they were when I first purchased them. Every bit of grit and dirt softens the leather and makes it more comfortable, the stitching is still intact all over even the hipster "love hate" is still on the knuckles.

So I would highly reccomend these gloves, even if you have to remove the "love hate" from the knuckles to wear them I would.

    Nick
