Ask them to revise the P&P before paying... as i can only assume they're charging international shipping but in reality it's only slightly more then 1st class to post from Ireland to the UK.
If he won't change it & the goods arrive with a much cheaper postage amount, simply leave a neutral feedback stating that the seller has extortionate shipping prices.
It costs alot less to post from Ireland to the UK then it does to post from mainland europe to the UK even both are considered international shipping.
