Seems rather a lot for a 'quick release' hub in a box marked 'quick release'. What, 'quick', as in when you turn a bolt with a spanner you can be quite quick, if you hurry?

the box probably refers to what was considered quick in the olden days. its clear that these spindles are not made to be used with skewers they are too wide.

hmmm... I don't know enough to say one way or the other ma9net.
I assume the seller would know if it was a Cinelli frameset, and would list it as such - model and serial number included.
It's being sold as a NOS custom frameset.

I think that orange frame is the one my house mate got a while back that was actually a road frame with track lugs fitted to the back end!?

He said the welding on the rear drop outs was a bit dodgy... I never got a chance to check it out because he sent it back as soon as he received it.

Cinelli cast BB shells, lugs and fork crowns were normal on high end bikes in the 80's
