After fabricating my own tensioner for my converted road frame I've decided to put a mini batch of these into a production run, here is the first lot on offer, made from corrosion resistant high grade A2 stainless steel with lovely mirror polished finish.

A lot of hard work has gone into making these so I'm asking £8 each, you really don't need a pair but if you really wanted a 2nd I would do a discount.

    Pm me if you're interested

    UPDATE!

Due to popular demand I will be keeping these tensioners in production for as long as there is a call for them,

The price is £8.00 for 1, £14.00 for a pair
Postage to UK is £1.00, EU is £2.00 and rest of the world £2.50

If you wanted to pick up in London I work in Shoreditch E2

Please Paypal to 'tristoo@yahoo.com' and I will do my best to send it 1st class that day.

    Cheers

  • Nice job! that looks the business...

  • pm'd!

  • People who make things are good people.

  • yeah, well done!

  • Nice design.

  • pm'd as well

  • Excuse the stupidity but what does this do that pulling the wheel back far enough doesn't? (if it does something good I might have some too!)

  • Should stop the wheel creeping forward in the dropouts.

  • though you pull the wheel back, it tends to slowly slip forward, thus loosening your chain.
this tensioner keeps your wheel pulled back so that your chain stays tight and you don't have to repeatedly pull your wheel back every time your chain slacks and your wheel slips forward slightly....
    am I right tristoo?

  • Ah ok, get it now. Not had that issue yet but if I do I know who to come to.

    Ta

  • Awesome. I always thought that these little things couldn't be too hard to manufacture. Well done for doing it.

@joe1983, it also makes it easier to make accurate adjustments to your chain, I always find just pulling hard means I have to do it again 3 times to get the tension right.
