Just a note, be polite to the police and anyone else whose part of the organising of the marathon you come across, we got by with a wave, a smile and a good morning to everyone in uniform. Made for a good morning.

Fancy dress FTW!

They'd be more likely to laugh it off if you're dressed in a bear costume.
