Just got back....about to tuck into chips, peas, sausage, and gravy.....today couldn't have been better!
I want to give a huge thank you to Phil and Gina...it wouldn't have happened without your amazing assistance.
Basically an enormous thank you to everybody who donated money...everybody who rode and carried...everybody who had anything to do with today...your help was so appreciated by me, and i'm sure by the staff and children at the hospitals and the childrens home.
I think this was my favourite ride yet....nice relaxed pace...no stupid skidding and riding like idiots....nobody getting left behind.
Just great people....great conversation...great atmosphere...and all for a great cause.
It's days like this that make me realise why this forum is so important to me...i don't care about what bike you ride...whether you wear a helmet...or jump red lights...the only thing that matters is that when your help is needed, you're all there....and that's exactly what happened today.
This forum has some of the most friendly, generous, amazing people you could ever meet!
