There's ISO and JIS tapers, and Italian and English threads generally.

ISO = campagnolo generally, and Suginos in this case
JIS = Shimano

You can get both kinds of threading with both kinds of spindle. You'll be looking for a campag BB unless you want to shell out mega bucks for the Phil.

The Mickey BB is also an affordable ISO taper BB in the right spindle-length range.
