• Cant help you on the Pug front, but i run a front mechanical disc - i think you would have problems fitting those forks unless you converted to an aheadset, which might end up costing a wee bit. Anyway heres a pic of my brake set up, similar to the one before in the thread - didnt realise anyone else had done this, though i know Flickwig has done since with a disc too.

    Wow, NICE!!! If I'm honest, I'd be more worried about that getting scratched than my Trek !!

    For the forks I sort of figured I'd need, those forks + a threadless 1" headset + a shim + a stem + new bars.... so yep I guess it wouldn't be super cheap, and the only slavagable parts if I were ever to ditch the pug would be the bars and stem :(

    I do wonder what impact thed' have on the geometery too, but hey may be I'm running before I can walk :)
