Holy crap, Velo, I had no idea you'd been doored! Yeah, dangerous night out for the Westies crowd it sounds like. I picked a hell of a night to go solo on the way over...and yet made it safe and sound!

Ah, it was nothing really. Didn't damage the bike, and I just earned a little bruise. Mostly managed to stay on the thing too. I'm pretty sure I dented his door though. It's more that it just left me shaken. But at least no damage (it was one of those moments where you triple-check yourself out of disbelief at being OK).
