Terrible news, and like everyone else, I'm just wondering how many more people will have to lose their lives before something is done. HGVs should not be on the road in central London at all -- this is an ancient city in terms of road layout, it's not suitable for bendy buses or any other large vehicles.
I cycled back home along the A202 / A2 from Deptford Bridge towards Vauxhall, and two enormous container lorries were trying to keep up with each other, and they thundered past me and it was horrible.
My thoughts and prayers with are with the victim and family.
