Nothing wrong with a bit of "safe" music here and there. It's nice to enjoy a tune with someone else who has actually heard of it...plus if it's one thing I've learned in life, being a prick about other peoples' tastes in music won't get you anywhere because people just don't give a shit and think you're just being a prick.
