so i got me some aliums and dominators for my commuting etc, and are stoked with both except i've noticed some cramping in my feet. i went with the Mega sized 43 sidis, for my broad feet after trying on the 43's in cycle surgury.
riding was immediately more responsive in terms of speed an i'm well chuffed. but i'm not sure if i'm over tightening or if i've got bad habits from trainers and cages but i get a weird ache/cramp that moves along the outside of my foot and occasionally jumps to my arch depending on where i weight my foot. my feet are snug, not sliding around, maybe too tight across the very top? i need to try more tensions i guess. but the main thing i notice is that the cramp goes if i put the weight on the ball of my foot. instantly.
trouble is it doesn't feel that natural unless powering away from lights/pushing hard etc. i have to bring my knees in and focus on posture. a good thing? and when braking with my legs the cramp jumps back to the outside edge. i think its all down to having had weird/not sidi compatible posture when riding with cages/straps. i know that i wore my trainers out on the outside edge, like i was putting most of my weight on the outside...
so. what can i do to help? has anyone else had this? any pointers?
