  • TK Maxx in Leyton has got lots of Vans slip-ons in stock at the moment for £14.99. Mostly in the smaller sizes, and in the less "discrete" styles.

    I see this:

    EWWWWW.

  • Thought my hlafcabs got stolen so bought a second pair but wahey today they come back up!

i've never taken a liking to half cabs... until.. i saw.. these. i'm in love.

  • Is there anymore info on the Shop 14 shoes? Any ideas on how much they will cost?

Also does anyone have the Gabe Morford Vans? I'm trying to justify the £75 for the eras to myself and could do with a review of them.

  • the gabe morford vans are my favorite
can't get better than the GM era's
    well good
    seriously
    buy them

    i'm wearing mine now.
shame they have a gaping sub-big toe hole...
...i've not worn anything else for riding and general abuse for several months

  • We stock some of the Vans ERA 45 LX's and they are designed with "Fixed gear bikes in mind" when looking at the fabric construction and build compared to a convenional Vans ERA. For instance the toe box is constructed from a Rip-stop like fabric that is more durable where your toe will come into contact in bike use as opposed to skate use(like an ollie pacth on old skat shoes). They also have a super-sticky Vans waffle soul that has super grip plus a sticky toe wrap on the vulcanised outsole. Admnittedly they do have the fixed gear artwork on the footbed which is arguably inneccesary but they are sick shoes and have sold super quick in our store.

Vans seems to be a popular choice with fixed gear riders anyhow I thought. I think its rad that Vans have identified this and are tailoring there best selling shoes to this market.

  • i just spaffed some moolah on some white supercorsas... :)

  • The supercorsas a lovely shoe too. Really minimal and slimline but not too narrow, your a lucky man

  • where do you work attla?

  • I work at a store called attla down in cornwall. Long way from most of the guys on the board but good to hear whats happening in your scene and chat to people.

  • i just spaffed some moolah on some white supercorsas... :)

Me too, within about 30 seconds of seeing this post.

    yay,

  • I got some of the brown ones...

    Nice

  • they have some vans era aimed at fixed gear riders in Office shoes. i got some yesterday with a voucher i have had since my birthday in november.
they are pretty good, just like the others but with refective material around the hole (bit where your foot goes in!), and on the back. and some chain design on the foot bed. nothing special really.

  • Vans are the way forward. I have this pair of half cabs.
[CENTER]Go to slam city skates in neals yard. They sell loads of vans including eras, originals, slip ons and half cabs. And its cheap.
    I'nm saving for these beauts.
