Motorbikers have been almost as vulnerable to HGVs as cyclists are. Letting them into some bus lanes may make them feel safer while they remain vulnerable to the left turn crash.
The LCC is monitoring cyclists' reactions to more motorbikes in bus lanes. Let us know of any incidents or what you think http://www.lcc.org.uk/index.asp?PageID=1250 We only have till the end of June to get the information needed to write a formal comment about the bus lane trial.
