charlie, surely concerns over safety in bus lanes stems from fears that motorcyclists traveling at the speeds that the emptiness of the bus lanes afford may imperil cyclists. If this motorcyclist was hit by a left turning vehicle cutting across the bus lane, the danger that he faced and realised was the same for cyclists using bus lanes every day?
