I think I have both straps one attached to the bag and the other inside? So I'm pretty sure that the stap found on the floor is not for my bag.
I'm off out to the event in Birmingham later, so hopefully get some pic and post them up later too.

Davey, yes, pics please! I'm still trying to decide between a Theo and an Archie on size so would be great to see pics of your Theo.

Scott, I know, I know, you keep telling me that. But until I see one in the flesh I still won't know if it's too big for me.* You had said the Theo is approx the same volume as a PAC Ultimate, which friends of mine have recently got, and that is pretty much exactly the size I'm looking for. Add the compression straps and you can sinch it down to a more manageable volume when needed. Basically, I'm just going to have to try some bags on, in some way, at some point.
*it probably will be and I'll eventually get an Archie, but I really don't want to buy another bag only for it to be slightly too small...

Once i lend Andre my Bill bag i'll have my very first Grobag back again...a Theo...you can try it on :)
Wicked. Thanks Scott.

Scott, I've got to say that those prices still seem perfectly reasonable for the quality of the final product. I'm sure you're right that people will bitch about them, but if you want an artisan's products you've got to be prepared to pay for an artisan's time.
-
• #333
i don't think anyone will bitch, they are damn well worth every penny and then more.
-
• #334
How much Scott? This is an outrage! ;)
And Murtle is never worth £20. The phone pouch is but Murtle isnt.
-
• #335
19.99 then??
-
• #336
Nothing wrong with those prices, they sound perfectly reasonable given the time and effort it must take to pump them out! When you compare that to a lot of things that are handmade, even things like bike frames, that's a bargain!! Keep up the good work Scott!

ten bob two eggs and make it quick, and don't hurt me.

Looking at that list again, it would help with choosing to have some approx dimensions for these bags, especially for the smaller sizes and to distinguish between the Theo, Bill (large) and Archie. How big are the Marlon, Emily and Estelle?
-
• #340
There's an Addie? Ooh! Does one get to see a picture of one's namesake then? :)
-
• #341
I don't think i've ever seen a bill, how does it compare to the archie and theo scott?

Oh, and I meant to add that because you've not been able to finish my Ninja yet, I'll pay the extra to add to bring it to the latest price list.
Has that charcoal fabric arrived yet???

I don't think i've ever seen a bill, how does it compare to the archie and theo scott?
Mines a bill. You tried it on the other day.
-
• #349
Well played Scott. Im stayin on the list! They are clearly fucking ace.

Mines a bill. You tried it on the other day.
Ahhhh ok, so thats bigger than an archie yes, but not as big as the theo, and didn't you say it had slightly less pockets or something?
Scott the bag has arrived and is brilliant and has surpassed my expectations. Quality and attention to deal on the bag is better than I have ever seen. It's got masses of straps and padding in all the right places.
The Theo is a massive bag but still really comfortable and not overly heavy. Even when it has a fair bit of stuff in it, it's comfortable.
To get one of these bags it was worth the wait.
