Wanted: Campagnolo compatible lockring

I'd like a Campagnolo compatible lockring. That's it, really. Apparently Condor normally do them for £6, but have none in stock at present.

as far as i know the miche won't fit properly but phils will, condor will stock something less pricey though

Im using a Miche one that was £5 and its working fine. Campag lock rings are bloody expensive as i just bought one!

i bought a Campag lockring ages ago to go on my Miche hub and it doesn't bloody fit... Which is crap... Phil Wood are supposed to fit but I haven't tried mine on the Miche hub... FYI Miche lockrings are made of soft cheese...

This is strange, I just came on to start this very thread! I have a Miche hub with a Miche lockring (teenslain knows how shit there are and say me almost go through one avaoiding peds!) Anyway, point is the Miche lockring is made of butter, which is even softer than soft cheese if bought from the right place, and I want something much better. So the question...

What is actually compatible with Miche hubs? I've heard that Miche, Campy and Phil are meant to all be the same size/pitch thread, but others have said they don't fit. Who knows the truth?! Also, I'd like on when found, as long as they're not stupidly expensive.

yeah sounds like they are nearly compatible, but not quite. I'm not prepared to risk my record hub with a 'nearly compatible' lockring. From what I've read, Phil Wood and Campy are the same.

hmm, i've just had a look actually and the phil wood lockring doesn't support enough of the splined carrier bit so actually it doesn't. gash.

Hubjub have the EAI lockrings in stock again. Gone up in price tho'.

I can confirm that Gizmond is right. Miche lockring fits beautifully and will be making an appearance at Herne Hill tomorrow.

It sounds pretty dodgy to me. Is it possible that some companies could use variations in thread size/pitch? It would be pretty stupid but not unheard of (stupidness within bike products, that is).
