yes, but they were stretched wider than original width, steel, chrome- good in places, crap in other places, I used full tape as in Madison bars.

Stretched? How?
Do you mean bent?
EL Diablo, I'm still interested, how much (stretch and price)? -
• #4
hey that was my WANTED thread... but same questions: stretched?
-
• #5
i've got one, it's an old track bar with the matching track stem, the bars have been slightly bent in a crash, might sell it, make an offer?

stretched- well I've spent a lot of time in the gym so when I go to the beach I don't get sand kicked in my face, so the shoulders are wide.
Cinelli Track bars are very narrow- for me so I put one end of the flats on the carpet covered by a foot and pulled the other flat gently outwards, turn the bars over and do again on the other side, and hey presto I have bars the width I want. Apprently is was a done thing a long time ago, and the bar shape is very similar to a version of the Charge bars.
Price- make me an offer as I have no idea, the problem is delivering the bars as I'm in Uxbridge, next known trip up town is 20th Jan.
To be fair here- its Punkpixel's thread and I responded to that, so to me he'd have first choice, Fruitbat would be second in line. I have no wish to upset anyone, or start a war here.
PS I have the Cinelli chrome Sachi droop snoop chrome stem to go with the bars too- I should have two somewhere, one long 12/13 cm and one medium 9 ish cms.

El_Diabolo, the bar is for quite a precious bike so I really need one in good condition, not bent. But I appreciate your muscle power. I am a quite a skinny guy with just a few small muscles in my legs and none in the arms. So I am happy for Fruitbat to have the muscle bend bar

Hi Rad- I can't PM or message you- you need to do five posts to prove you're a good chap. Try PM-ing me after that, yes it sounds like the stem you're after.

bugger. they had one at Tour de Ville I had my eye on but they sold it
Same question again: anyone selling a Cinelli PISTA bar in good condition (not bended)? -
• #21
lol whats wrong with my bent ones
-
• #22
i am just superstitious but if they are just very slightly bent I am definitely interested.
-
• #23
they're steel so they're definitely structurally sound, but i can't sell 'em, they're the only ones that match the stem! sorry buddy. bump this thread on monday when there are more people online.
