Hey kowalski, I glazed over halfway thru the thread but in case you still need a solution I have a Campag Athena BB that has a 111mm axle but fully adjustable cups like a Miche so you could tweak the crank a coupla mil back to the right to clear the chainstay. Give me a shout if it's of use. Oh, it's English threaded... no idea what your 'Pink Pinacolada' is, so over to you...
Thanks,dude.
I need an Italian threaded BB. The Pink Pinacolada is a brightly-coloured Pinarello Surprise Pista.
Clearly, at this point I'm wondering why i sold my fully functioning 75s for Pistas...
I left the old girl with Clarke this morning.
Still no firm resolution, but he reckons (contrary to CONdor's opinion) that the Chorus 111mm is asymmetrical, where the Centaur/Veloce is not. He's stuck a Veloce in and reckons it's better but not bang on.
Makes sense to me, with the right crank having more clearance than the left. You'd have to assume (!) that clearance would be equal.
I'll collect her Monday morning and have a butcher's.
Thanks,dude.

Biggest surprise being the cranks don't fit.
