Good point, and it is true in many circumstances. I personally like the design on some of those ties... although ones like 'the morning wood' leave a bad taste in my mouth. You could say that it's a bit like the "fixie" culture with quotes like "i dislike people who try to demonstrate their uniqueness and individuality through their choice of ties. it's a slippery slope to wearing a homer simpson novelty tie. "
This could relate to many items of clothing but they all look good on someone when worn right.
