Goldtec Hub Failure

Went into BLB on Wednesday with the intention to buy some black Goldtec hubs for my partners ride. But they told me that they're has been some serious issues with them such as the flanges snapping?

Has anyone had any experience of this?

on a side note, i think i was in BLB at exactly the same time you were, buying some clips and straps....
