Chainstay clearance crisis

Do you think you could live with getting a wider non-adjustable BB and a chainline that's a couple of mm out?

I know I could (and have), but I'm weird like that.

If all else fails a longer spindle and a spacer on the sprocket.

I had a quick google earlier, and this problem doesn't seem to be that rare on large-thighed alu track frames.

Cinelli Vigorelli similarly afflicted apparently, as is the Concept.
